This was the biggest crisis since he began his public mission. He began to have feelings of guilt. What was wrong in his teaching? Why did the Israeli people who were prepared for around 2000 years for the Coming of the Messiah, misunderstand him? He was crying for forgiveness from his father God. He had to change his strategy, to explain in a simple way the true meaning of the Kingdom of God. At the end of his 40 days, Jesus was so weak physically and spiritually that Satan went to test him. Jesus was feeling alone, but his faith and trust in his Father was always there and he was determined to start again.
To avoid misunderstandings he put emphasis on a spiritual Kingdom. The Kingdom of God had to start in the heart of every human being.
Now he was already well known. Scribes, Pharisees and Sadducees, who were the main groups that led the Jewish society, began to worry about his presence and his influence on the lower classes. Little by little they started to check on his teaching and called him a heretic who wanted to destroy the law. Jesus became more careful and used symbols and parables to explain his father's Kingdom. As we said already, in that difficult situation, Jesus looked for help from his relative John the Baptist, but he took distance from Jesus.
He was completely alone. We discussed many times how to go on; how to make people understand his true mission, how to be accepted by the leader and leading power. All the miracles he did, didn't help anymore "If you don't believe in my words, at least believe in what I'm doing".
The arguments became stronger every day. A few times they tried to take him and kill him. Finally, they managed to corrupt his disciple Judah Iscariot for 30 denarii. He could not trust his own friends anymore. At that time there was no pardon, escaping death was like denying his whole mission. He was condemned to die and come back at a better time. This was our final decision.
He was crucified.
